Recent Promotions at CBE

CBE, one of Europe’s leading EPoS (Electronic Point of Sale) providers, has announced several key promotions within its ranks, reflecting the company’s commitment to innovation and excellence.

Jimmy Killeen has been promoted to R&D Process Manager. A native of Cahir, Hollymount, Co. Mayo, Jimmy joined CBE in June 2003 after earning a BSc. in Computing in Software Development from GMIT. Over his tenure, Jimmy has held various roles, including Systems Executive for Hospitality, Software QA in R&D, Project Manager, and most recently, R&D Program Lead.

Noel Prendergast has taken on the role of R&D Retail Applications Manager. Hailing from Knock, Co. Mayo, Noel joined CBE in February 1998. He holds degrees in Electronic Engineering and Information Technology systems from GMIT and DCU. Noel’s career at CBE has seen him serve as Systems Engineer, EFT PM, Systems Support Supervisor, and R&D Executive.

John Marren has been promoted to Cloud Program Manager. Originally from Tourlestrane, Co. Sligo, John joined CBE in January 2005. He studied IT & Telecommunications at the University of Limerick and Project Management Professional at the Project Management Institute. John’s previous roles at CBE include Systems Engineer, Support Desk Supervisor, Project Manager, and Project Lead.

Nick Skehan has been appointed as Training Manager. A native of Dublin, Nick holds a Higher Diploma in Learning and Development and an Advanced Professional Certificate in Digital Learning Design from University College Cork and Newcastle University. Since joining CBE in April 2016, Nick has served as Systems Executive, Training Executive, and Training Lead.
